Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and KNK Consulting, Finland ("we", "us"), which runs karrot. By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. What karrot is
karrot is a marketing checklist and AI coach for app builders. It gives guidance and suggestions. It does not guarantee any specific result, such as more users, sales or revenue.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate details.
- Keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account is for one person unless we agree otherwise in writing.
3. Free and paid access
The Foundation area is free. Other areas and features need paid access. Prices, and whether a plan is a subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time payment, are shown before you buy.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and cancellation are also covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
4. Subscriptions and cancellation
If you buy a subscription, it renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
5. Refunds: 14-day money-back guarantee
If karrot isn't right for you, request a refund within 14 days of your first purchase at paddle.net or email nina@ninakolari.com, and you will be refunded in full. Refunds are processed by Paddle.
- This applies to your first payment for a plan, whether it is a subscription or a one-time purchase.
- Subscription renewals are not refunded, but you can cancel any time to stop future charges.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.
- After a refund, paid access ends.
- We may refuse repeated refund requests or refunds where these terms were clearly abused.
This guarantee is in addition to any rights you have under consumer law, which it does not limit.
6. Fair use and AI limits
The AI coach has a daily message limit to keep the service fast and affordable for everyone. You agree not to misuse karrot: no scraping, reselling, sharing accounts, attacking the service, or using it for anything illegal or harmful.
7. AI-generated content
AI replies and scores can be wrong or incomplete. Use your own judgement before acting on them, especially for legal, financial or technical decisions.
8. Your content
You own everything you add to karrot, such as app details, notes and chats. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you.
9. Our content
The karrot checklist, text, design and brand belong to KNK Consulting. You may use them for your own apps, but you may not copy, resell or republish them.
10. Connecting your own AI (MCP)
You can connect karrot to third-party AI tools. Those tools are provided by other companies under their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time by emailing nina@ninakolari.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
12. Availability and changes
We work to keep karrot running, but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If we make a big change to a paid feature, we will tell you in advance.
13. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Finnish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to fix things. Consumers in Finland can also take a dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi).
15. Changes to these terms
We will tell you about important changes by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using karrot afterwards, the new terms apply.
